Ian Manners
Director
Ian started Zenith Promotions on July 1st 1990. Prior to that Ian worked as the Director of Sales and Hire for a marquee and structures company for 4 years. Ian has combined his experience in the marquee hire and structures industry with that of managing a pub and restaurant in Gloucestershire. Added to that, the six years Ian spent working for Castrol Oil in their motorsports department handing all Castrol’s involvement in motorcycle racing and rallycross was a good grounding for learning about publicity, promotions and the hospitality and exhibition industry.
Ian is also an author having written 2 novels, ‘Where Do I Belong?’ and ‘Unfinished Business’. He is currently working on a non-fiction story ‘Our Brother Mr President’.
Ian has one son, Geoffrey, four daughters, Hannah, Akinyi, Esther and Hailey and two grandchildren, Lillah and Elsie.
Ian is an active sportsman captaining Bracknell Squash 3rd Team, coaching his son Geoffrey’s U16 Rugby Team at Bracknell and going to the gym. Ian is an RFU Level 3 rugby coach and played rugby for Swindon 1st XV and at County level for Wiltshire Rakers.
Craig Gilbert
Director
Craig started working for Zenith at the age of 16 in the summer of 1991 and continued to work on a part time basis whenever not at school or university.
After completing his degree in Mathematics at Portsmouth University in 1996 he joined full time as Operations Manager. In 2004 when Zenith Canopy Structures Limited was registered, he became a Director.
A family man, with two very active children, Craig’s weekends normally involve days out with wife Michelle, son James and daughter Gemma.
Craig is also the manager of his son’s U12’s football team at Binfield Football Club and is now Vice Chairman of the club.
